No. An international driving permit (IDP) along with your valid home country license is accepted. We can also help you obtain a Thai license if you're staying long-term.
We place a hold of one month's rental on your credit card via Stripe. This is not charged — it's an authorization hold. It's fully released when you return the vehicle in good condition.
Yes! The Neta V can charge from any standard Thai wall outlet (220V). A full overnight charge gives you 100% battery. We can also help arrange a dedicated home charger installation.
At 6.6 THB per kWh, a typical 20%→80% charge (23.1 kWh) costs only ~152 THB. A full 0→100% charge is ~254 THB for 250 km of range. That's roughly 1 THB/km — compared to a petrol car at ~4 THB/km in Phuket traffic (40 THB/L, 10L/100km).
